Terms & Conditions
1. By placing an order and making a purchase - whether for goods or livestock, you are deemed to have fully accepted these terms and conditions.
2. No returns are accepted on livestock once dispatched. This is due to our strict biosecurity policy, which has been submitted to and approved by CEFAS.
3. You must confirm a delivery date and time when someone will be available to receive the fish. Orders will not be dispatched without this confirmation.
4. Please ensure your delivery address is entered correctly and updated if it has changed since a previous order. We do not accept responsibility for issues caused by outdated or incorrect delivery information. In such cases, no refund will be issued for dispatched livestock.
5. Fish are guaranteed for 7 days after delivery, provided the following conditions are met: • Fish must be kept in suitable conditions and within appropriate water parameters for their species. • You must be able to provide water test results if requested, to confirm those conditions. • You must provide photographic evidence of any deceased fish. • Fish must be retained, as we may require them to be sent to the Fish Health Inspectorate for autopsy. Failure to meet any of these conditions will invalidate your claim.
6. Fish images shown on our website and social media are for illustrative purposes only. They do not represent the grade or exact colour of the fish you will receive. All fish are sold ungraded.
7. Claims for items (non live fish) damaged during transit will be considered. Customers need to notify us immediately and should retain photographs of any damage as supporting evidence.
8. All fish should be quarantined upon arrival until you are fully satisfied with their health. Only then should they be introduced to existing stock. We will not accept any claims related to the contamination of other fish.
